David..I love the printers block.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Hi DET, welcome to 2015! :)

Attila, that Turcsany steals my heart every time I see it.

00Photo, I didn't know Platinum made a nib that wide. Hmmm.

Today I'm using a Sailor Naginata Togi (ribbed) with a music nib stubbed by Minuskin:

Ok so no school today for the kids... and... it was dads day to stay home and entertain them... so icy here in West Michigan our family dog fell down the steps trying to negotiate her way to the yard. LOL, she survived although her ego is a bit bruised.

And between snacks, lunches, homework, games, and cleaning up...I managed some graffiti of sorts.

Same!

David what can I say? The courthouse block, your pen, the ink and your effortlessly beautiful handwriting. Stunning.

Prvt. Toter, sounds and looks like you had quite a day!

I'm almost at the end of my marathon cocktail bar retouching session and looking forward to Film Club tomorrow night - Buffalo 66 (a real gem).

Thanks again everyone. I love this space . . .

Prvt. Toter, nice pile of pens, far too many for any sane person to have inked at one time. I bet a good psychoanalysis of your drawing would reveal some interesting things. :D

Those plans may be a little ostentatious for my house..Can you tone it down a bit. :P

You should invest and have the Turcsany re-tipped. You will love the results, and so will I when you give that pen to me...

I will try to ;)

Goldnibs has some wonderful repair results posted on their site, I think I'll try them sometime soon.

Good! It's my little revenge for those MANY beautiful pens you've shared. ;)

I took my second try with some letter drawing, lettering (I think that's the name for it).
It turned out better than I thought.

Platinum Preppy for the letters, Pilot 912 PO for the dots, and mechanical pencil to sketch it up.

Toter, I disagree, it was the perfect number of pens to be inked!
