Hi everyone

Some drool-worthy pens here! Just thought I'd let everyone see what's been in use today.

Sorry about the poor phone photos. Haven't quite got the knack yet.

My latest project. This is the Morrison pen I just got, and it needed a nib, so I put a Rosetta 1.1 stub in it, for now. I have a Waterman nib coming that may take it's place. It's been nice, so far. The pic is a little fuzzy, so I'll try to get a better one.

When I bought it, it was listed as missing the nib and feed. I was surprised to find the feed inside the barrel. I'm still looking for a Morrison nib, though. I do have a Morrison ringtop coming today, and might do a swap. Either that, or I have a Waterman nib also coming that might fit the bill. Part of what I do is to understand how all these pieces fit, and work, together.

Used today by Alexis Tsipras, new Prime-Minister of Greece. (moment of taking the oath)

What model is it? MB 145? May be somebody can determine, seeing the photo?

Go, go Greece!!!!!

I think thats still a great looking pen. Is it a ring top or a clipped version? Good idea on the nib swap. A Waterman 2 or 5A from the Commando are still my favorite nibs.

I think it's actually a clipless (don't ask...). I have a Waterman 2 coming - it looks a bit beat, but may be my learning for grinding and smoothing up nibs a bit more. I suspect that the Morrison is destined to be an italic, one way or the other.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Looks too small to be a 149, and too short to be a 144. Let me call him I will ask

It seems that this pen has managed to stay in my shirt pocket since I bought it, therefore neglecting all my other pens. Will try to switch next week to a different one.

Yes, they are and wow are they beautiful. I will need to learn about the best way to shine these up.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

If you have a Tifany´s boutique near you, I sugest you purchase a polishing cloth. It worked wonders in my pen (same model as yours). I think Montblanc has a cloth as well.
