Feathers, I'm glad you remembered to shake the bottle this time for us. ;)

That SHEEN! is so boooootiful. And the effect on the nib is interesting.

Thanks for that link. I need to bust out my RH and try to figure out which version it is.

hahahhahahaha oh geez, I know, right? #fail

It really is gorgeous. I can't get enough of sheening inks. Or shiny things. B)

No prob! It's a great 'timeline' I guess you'd call it, for RH's birth and reincarnation.

Funny: I use Lamy Blue-Black quite often in my Parker 51 and Parker 61 so I thought I knew the colour quite well ... but it seems very different coming out of that beautiful Bexley. A breadth effect, I guess ... though the neat figures help, too, I dare say.

Parker 51 with Noodler's Midnight (and some Lamy Blue ... I know, I know, but I ran dry while out of the office and the Noodler's bottle was in my bag).

Parker Vacumatic with J. Herbin Cacao du Bresil.

I had noticed that it looks really nice in use, today. It is the very first fill of the pen, so the ink is pure and undiluted nor dehydrated. It must just be the combo of the broad nib, my print and the Apica paper.

Thanks, Tas. The shading of the ink is just amazing.

I have a feeling that anyone who likes the Lamy 2000 will love this Conid model.

Every time I play with a Conid at The London Pen show, I hear harps and my credit card trying to bury itself deeper into my wallet . . .

LOL! The harps pulled me in online, just reading some reviews, and i knew it would only be a matter of time and that any effort at self-restraint would eventually be eroded. If i have to go on a pen-buying sabbatical now, i would at least be in a happy place. Momentarily

Beautiful pen and nice ink match. I have an affinity for Edison's and I think it's time I try the "other" Ohio pen brand. I, too, am a broad fan. How do you like the nib?

P65 is a kind of P61 with open inlaid nib. European market never like hooded nibs. UK Parker factory, has re-designed P61 model to reach a greater market share...

I believe it's a Jowo steel nib. It's one of my smoother nibs, medium wetness. It's not as broad or nearly as wet as my Jowo steel nib by Goulet Pens.

I love the pen so much that I may fork over the money to get a 18k stub put on it by nibs.com.

I didn't think I would really like a yellow pen, but this one is definitely sunny and cheerful. It's a beauty too. The ink is lovely as well.
