Cyber6, yes you should stub!

David, that's another great nib.

Tas, Tringle and I wish we were drinking with you too.

Sinistral1, that's one of my mom's pens that she bought between 1988-1992. I think it's an Exclusive? I looked up the two pens and now I can't remember which was which. It could be a Laureate? I really don't remember. Art worked some magic on it. Let me know if you want to try it out.

Tanzanite, yes, that's a Javelin that is also Artified and I love it.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. I'm afraid my modern Waterman tastes lie exclusively with my Gentleman friends, another of which I am going to go to the Fountpen Recycler this evening to purchase, a Burgundy Gentleman with a medium nib. Mike just might have some more new (old) ink on hand, too!

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Man I missed a week and have had a great time catching up!

Tas, what in the world are you drinking?!

I used this pen and ink combination at work today, struggling to write straight because it had been a week without writing at all. Does that happen to anyone else?

I've no idea what it was called (or what was in the thing) but it smelt and tasted of heaven.

Loving the blue, a lot.

Cyber6, tut tut, sharesies makes the world go around . . . :)

Well, well, well, look what flapped it's feathered wings and lighted on Pendemonium's Faceplant page this morning...

It's an entry in their handwriting contest.

A shoe in I'd say.

I would recognize that feathered fowl anywhere. ;)

Favourite? That would be hard to choose. Most comfortable to use is an easier choice to make. I hold pens in a very infantile way (three fingers together around the section and one underneath) so the best pens for my hands are those with hooded or semi-hooded nibs; pens with sections which taper towards the nib. In that regard, my most comfortable writers are my Shaefer Legacy, Shaeffer Taranis, Lamy Studio and, lately, Lamy 2000.

Parker Penman Emerald is easily one of my favourite inks. I have never had clogging issues with it, contrary to lots of reports.

Mart, what is the ink? I can read "The green ink is . . . " what?

It's Diamine Delamere Green. Funny, 'cause I thought I'd ordered Sherwood green which is a little darker!

Edit: FYI, top is Diamine Ancient Copper and bottom is Diamine China Blue.

Pen Shows are just so educational... Such pretty pens to look at and hold in your hands... And two giant rooms full of really lovely people.

Today's WotD - cost $1.25. I have given away dozens of these pens to people who want to try out FPs (I make sure they work well first).

Edited to add: I have never had one of these little cheapie gems spring a leak, break, crack, fold/spindle/mutilate, or otherwise disappoint. They never dry out, they convert easily (and safely) to eyedroppers. I don't even know what the nibs are made of (brass?) but they don't scratch and they don't drag. I use them a lot. I even have a few in my pen roll with my MB 254 and an eversharp skyline (and whichever of the esties is on parade).

Got this sheaffer imperial sovereign gf as a gift to myself for Christmas

Gorgeous pen and gorgeous writer. Added to the rotation despite its non sobriety because of that super wet f nib that marries beautifully to kiwa guro
