Yes, I spent quite some time grinding on that one. It was worth the effort.

I am working on this one now. I just picked this one up off ebay and am restoring it. I have finished everything except buffing the cap. I couldnt buff any more without stopping to ink it up and play with it. :D

OOPhoto; That is one of the most attractive woodgrain Diamond Points I have seen on the network. The ink and pen combination are a perfect pair.

gorgeous. I love these pens. I've never actually held one. Some day.

Meanwhile, I've been trying to take my first very tentative baby steps in learning how to write with my Conklin Crescent #25. First attempts at a flexible nib. I can see the draw. Of course comparing this to some of y'all on this thread is like comparing a garden slug to a race horse, but I figure I've got to start somewhere.

That is a great pen, easy to use and clean, the pen to me feels very similar to a Waterman 52. The handwriting looks good as well. One of my grail pens is the Conklin Endura crescent filler.

I brought something to work today to play with when I need a break from the computer screen. Every time I fill this and play with it again, whatever size I use, it's just so much fun to have this on a fountain pen. No dipping needed. I also have a few of these nibs that fit into my Esterbrooks, which is just as much fun, and looks better. Now, these are some nibs that need to be made in #5 or #6 size for interchanging with lots of modern pens. These were really well-made nibs: never too dry, never too wet. I keep thinking I need to find more of these.

Can we be pen pals? I think it will be worth while because I can teach you about horrible handwriting...I don't mean to embarrass you in this public forum but I see that it's something you really struggle with and I want to help.

If anyone wants to be penpals shoot me a PM for my address and then toss a letter in the mail. I reply to everyone. Not very quickly usually LOL. Last year for InCoWriMo I got well over a hundred letters.

I like that Osmiroid AAAndrew, I've got one I got from my mother, it has 6 nibs. I've used it as an eyedropper but it leaks a bit even with silicon on the threads LOL.

I'm sorry my photos are not better. I'm using a smartphone combined with poor photo skills.

I have the plastic squeeze "convertor" for mine. I've thought about an eyedropper conversion, and will probably go there when the cheapo convertor gives out. You might try an "O" ring in addition to the silicon grease.

I actually have the "Copperplate" nib for this pen, but havn't been able to make it do much. Have you tried that Osmiroid nib? Am I just to cowardly to push hard enough?

I do have that one and it does not offer much line variation even when pushed. Luckily there is also that awesome 3 tined music nib in there kit as well!

Are you talking about the B-4 which has three tines? Or is there a Music Nib as well that has flex to it?
