Very beautiful colour of that Cassia ink. It might have to go into my "don't need it, but want it anyway" list. I love purple inks.

Is the buffalo horn barrel nice and warm to the touch? I have a few pieces of rather large hair accessories and they warm up to body temperature really nicely I find. I can imagine the pen feeling lovely in the hand.

The buffalo horn is nice to touch I would say it's similar to celluloid in terms of feel. The grip section on this pen is hard rubber which is warmer to the touch than the buffalo.

Houston, WOW! I've never seen a pen with that urushi design, or with the skull on top and spine on the clip. I never cease to be amazed at the creativity of pen makers! And what a fantastic setting where your dog's picture was taken - it looks idyllic.

Here's what I inked today before my first morning meeting:

Some awesome pens and drawings as always all.

But HOUSTON, Nakaya pens are gorgeous. Been thinking about selling some body parts so I can get one.

Yeah – the Sumiko Skull pen beyond choice. And those pictures are way better than on the Nakaya website.

Houston, I'm not Amber, but I did do a pink ink drinking Yink post a few weeks ago. If you mean my drawing, that just made my day! My heart went BuBom, and skipped a beat, and then I had big smile on my face. Thanks!

Your Nakaya Sumiko Skull is so grotesque and so beautiful at the same time! Never seen anything like it. And a nibmeister will have a field day with such a big blobby tipping material to play with.
