I'm waiting for my big blue Wahl-Eversharp Decoband and for one of the 21st Anniversary Classic Fountain Pens Nakaya Naka-ais, with a monkey roll stopper. The boxes are going under the tree and I won't open them until Christmas morning.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Got the x450 s already. Funny how shipping from China was somehow faster than the domestic that still hasn't arrived. Now also waiting on one of those Levenger Splendors (green fine) that was a complete impulse buy based on a FPN market tip. Great deal, hope I like it.

Ok so I thought I was waiting for the Levenger, but I guess the company decided to just cancel the order after receiving payment. Still assuming they'll refund, but kind of peeved.

Hi, so what did you order?

And what is that lozengue shaped object under your message? Looks impressive.

Well… I guess you will have to wait and see. ;)

Take the image as a clue; I have mentioned the pen previously in this thread. Trawl around the 26th of October (or thereabouts) and you might find the answer.

I am now waiting for some Platinum Preppys in three different colors, and one Chibi 2 from Jet Pens.

I lost out on the Preppys from a previous purchase elsewhere, and I seem to have developed an appetite for them now. I'm not 100% sure that I'm even going to like the Preppys! I suppose I had better like them now. And that Chibi 2 just looked interesting and adequately inexpensive, since I was buying stuff anyway, so well see how that one works out.

But after this purchase I am seriously going back on the wagon :excl: .

Nice to know others use that trick! Those are two gorgeous pens. Edited by ScienceChick

What? Not even to check they arrived undamaged? And you really ought to check the nibs and inkflow. And write a couple of letters to friends to ensure everything's working OK. And to see how they look on your desk. And carry them for a day or two to make sure the clips work. And that the roll stopper works And........ etc.

Or can we have a certified photograph of the unopened boxes on the 25th?! :D

I've got a pen in the mail! I'm super excited, even though it isn't a special pen. It is a hobby when I have 2 pens right? :)

I just got myself a Pilot Knight with a medium nib with a cyber Monday deal. :). I'm excited to try it out!

Jinhao 159 (should be here tomorrow), and a Montblanc 146 (should be here Wednesday). That's quite a juxtaposition, if you ask me.

Pens so far:

Montblanc 146, Lamy 2000 Fountain, Lamy 2000 Rollerball, Vintage Parker 45, Parker 45 Special, Platinum Preppy, Jinhao 159

Rather than waiting for, I have just received a beautiful Shaeffer Targa Red Ronce. No only is this my first Shaeffer but also my smallest pen to date. I have to say i am suitably impressed and having inked it already I can see it being a daily writer. Anyway here are some pics.
