What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2015

Impulse purchased a c.1958 Parker 61 in black with satin lustroloy cap and rolled gold clip to join my Parker 51. Now to see if it actually writes (sold as very good condition, but not sure if that just meant cosmetically), whether it fills with the strange capillary mechanism and what nib size it has...

Paid £15, so whilst it's not deal of the century, it wasn't too much.

Parker 75, Ingenuity, Premier, Sonnet, Urban | Pelikan M400 | TWSBI Diamond 580 | Visconti Rembrandt

Currently inked: Diamine Apple Glory (Rembrandt), Pelikan 4001 Turquoise (M400), Lamy Black (Diamond 580)

An off white (not sure what they call the colour: ivory?) Cross Century II. If it's even half as good as my ATXs, it should be worth waiting for, as well.

Stumbled upon the new Pilot Metropolitan Retro Pop fountain pens on Massdrop and picked up one for the 10 yr old.

I'm waiting on my long sought-after Pilot Vanishing Point in Green & Rhodium, en-route to me from the marvellous Lennard in The Netherlands! :D
Post from that region of the globe is unfortunately as slow as I am impatient, and a watched PO box never fills.. I shall gaze longingly upon its digital likeness in the meantime.

I'm waiting for a couple of unusual pens; a Cornu-Malcourant Speciman (which I believe, based on the appearance of the Myu-like nib, is made by Pilot) and a Reform Bruyere, a limited edition briar pen with a 14K nib made by the now defunct German manufacturer.

I know this is where people brag (in friendly ways) about what they are expecting in the mail. well i don't like bragging. I am expecting a $9.99 pen, a black MANUSCRIPT FOUNTAIN PEN * BLACK * FINE NIB. I liked the design of t he nib and I am willing to trade $10 for a chance to test it. LOL

Should be a fun nib!

I have a VP in this color, with an EF nib. My only VP, but hopefully the first of at least a few in the future. ^_^ Congrats, and I hope it arrives safe and sound!

This is a beautiful pen. Want one! Recently bought my first VP and love it. There will probably be more in the future.

Oh, let's see: an Al-Star in Pearl, two Safaris in Charcoal, and a Safari Lime Green (2011 production) with matching cross top (I have one of those already, but one of my sons has designs on it).

Thank you all! I'm thrilled.

TeaHive you will absolutely end up with more VPs, they are insanely addictive. This is joining my Stealth and I am already eyeballing the black bamboo and one of the radens, perhaps waterline. :D

A TWSBI 580AL in blue. I really thought I could resist but it's just too pretty.

WOW!

I KNOW!

I heard from La Couronne a week ago that it would take one or two weeks for them to get it from Faber-Castell, but this is not exactly a pen that you sit chomping at the bit and staring out of the apartment mail box for it to arrive. You really should be leaning back in a moose leather recliner sipping a smoky whiskey chatting lightly with your hunting companions about the latest excursions into the Black Forest.

I usually do the former though…

"We are one."
