The pen turned out even better than i had hoped, really excited about it :D

Also waiting for a 20 pen case from Franklin-Christoph and one of those neck loop pen slot thingies they sell.

You should post this in the most beautiful fountain pen thread. That is a beauty.

Thanks :) Renee does incredible work!

I´m just happy that the materials and silver ring i chose worked well together. I spent a long time second guessing myself before finally deciding. I might just post the pen in that thread, at least once i receive it.

Ah! So its yours! I have been ogling it on Scriptorium's Instagram page. Such a beauty. I really love the section and silver band accent.

Enjoy it for a very long time in good health.

Thanks, its nice that i´m not the only one who likes it. It was hell to choose materials, a lot of second guessing myself and nervousness once the process was ongoing. I was not at all sure how it would look when it was completed. Ive never updates instagram so often, completely took over my life

I´ll enjoy this pen a long time for sure!

On the stub-nib thread, I read about how great the factory stub nibs were on the original Sheaffer Legacy Heritage models (with the Touchdown filler). For some time, I've been thinking about Andreas Lambrou's "Richmond" sterling silver customization of the Legacy Heritage, since Richmond was my father's first name, and is my middle name. Nosing around on the web last night, I found a mint-in-box Richmond with a stub nib. After the usual internal argument of "I've spent too much on pens already" vs "I may never see another one of these again," it is on its way to me.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

2 seemingly identical albeit ordered within 2 months of each other (the 2nd by mistake ) jinhaos 599 in red .

On the bright side, it's prompted me to inventorize my tiny collection by way of Google Sheets file :P

Waiting for a refurbished black 51 with a rolled gold cap and a 1.4 stub. I am a sucker for big nibs, especially stubs.

Not a pen, but I've got ink and a NOS Parker Squeeze converter (the style used for 45s and 75s) en route, as well as another vial sample tray and a pack of sample vials (the package has cleared the area USPS sort facility).

Actually I sort of have a pen in the mail (although not to be permanently mine). It's one of the pens that Carl Fisher was looking for beta testers for. Dunno which one yet (I said either was fine).

Renee Meeks at Scriptorium Pens has shipped my Idyll, so now I can write about it here. Over the last two days I refreshed Twitter and Instagram over and over, watching the pen get made. I've always liked watching her feeds -- seeing the pens taking shape is fascinating -- but when it's your own pen, it's absolutely enthralling. I can't wait to get this and start writing with it.
