Then I went insane and ordered a Pelikan Raden Starlight.

Congratulations! I also see the Starlight as the best of this group. Another star-themed pen that I like very much is the Nakaya Raden Milky Way from nibs.com.

After some consideration I decided to get a Wality 69LFB from retrodesk.com

Here you can see it (because the jpg from there is so dang big)

http://retrodesk.com/69LFB.html

The pen is a piston filler and as a special something is 'fully blacked out'; black body, clip, rings, and even nib; everything's black.

I think that's gonna be pretty sweet.

Fully black; for all my ninja writing needs. And I already dug out the nicest black ink I have, Pelikan black.

I fell off the wagon (again :gaah: ) after reading others' praise for the following two fountain pens. So I have bought a Pilot Kakuno and a Pilot Metropolitan from JetPens. They should arrive before the end of this month. I'm hoping I'll like them a lot.

I'm still resisting a 350 mL bottle of Pilot Blue/Black ink. I have enough ink  ! I'm on the wagon here! Why am I falling off all of a sudden :wallbash: ?!?!?! Maybe I'll be able to spend another long time on the wagon after this.

On a sacred quest for the perfect blue ink mixture!

Still waiting on that vintage Sheaffer to ship. But I did ID it: a Triumph Statesman. Hopefully it will ship tomorrow because I'm really excited to get parts ordered and repair all my vintages.

Don't mind me, I like to ramble... A LOT

Platinum 3776 Century Bourgogne SF. Still trying to decide what stub pen to get, so of course, just like a kid, the money was burning a hole in my pocket....

Y'all are a bad influence....

I have a Parker Vacumatic Golden Pearl coming.

And, in a somewhat surprise bid, it appears I have a Parker 51 vacumatic, double-jewel black, with a sterling silver cap coming.

Thanks! It is on its way.

I don't really like the Nakaya Raden pens. They are either far too expensive, or expensive, but... incomplete. I'm definitely someone who supports the beauty of simplicity, but honestly, if I'm going to spend $2000+ on a pen that is going to be a 'wow' factor, I really don't want one that is too incomplete and simple... doesn't make sense for me to spend so much money for a pen that is like that when I can get one that is made from a much more reputable company for around the same price. Also it's a LE, while the Nakaya will take forever and a year to arrive.

I love my Pilot 823 so I decided to give the much more affordable TWSBI Vac 700 a try. I bought an extra Goulet nib which I believe (and hope) fits it.

I saw this pen for weeks being relisted and I made a bid on it finally. I should have bid on it the week before, may have gotten it at a lower price. Now others decided to bid on it, but in the end it is mine now.

I decided to upgrade from my newbie pens so I just ordered the Pilot Metal Falcon and Parker Sonnet Great Expectations.

Nothing super special but it's a big step up for me. Twitching from the excitement. :)

Sheaffer 300, on sale at iSellPens during their close out on Sheaffer products. It was on my list of next-to-buy pens, and considerably less expensive than the others. The Sailor 1911 or Pro Gear will just have to wait.

The 300 is scheduled for Friday delivery.

Heh, that deal was too tempting not to jump on right away. 300 in Iridescent Red for 43.50? Gimme gimme :D
