What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2015

I have fallen off the wagon and bought some fountain pens.

 

I'm waiting for some Jinhao Ebony Jewel fountain pens. They look like a Lamy Safari knockoff. I'm hoping that I'll have better luck with these than with the Safari I bought used here some years ago.

The only pens I have right now are my Custom 823, 1911 Large NMF, Pelikan M805 Cursive Italic and a Namiki Yukari Royale in Black Urushi.

And they have arrived today, two days earlier than predicted.

 

Unfortunately, I am finding that I could have bought them for much less money .

 

Now to find out if the extra I've paid for these pens was worth it.

I finally bit the bullet on a Pilot Custom 823 M. I've been reading reviews about this pen for over a year and dithered about it. But then the other day I jumped like a rabbit on the 2015 LE Collier and it made me think, "if I can make a snap purchase on a pen sight unseen, why haven't I bought the pilot that I've been lusting over for months already?"

 

So off to ebay I trotted and I'm feeling pretty good about things now.
