I don't have any other Pels so only have the gold EF in my M400, so I can't give you a comparison. Lots of others can though!

I would describe it as between a western fine and medium. Still considerably broader than my Sailor and Platinum Mediums. I have read that the steel nibs run finer, but have no direct experience.

 

I absolutely LOVE the tortoiseshell. I can't stop looking at it and touching it! Hope you enjoy yours.

Still waiting on the M400 White Tortoise.

 

The green M400 arrived today. This is my very first M400 and it is *really* nice!!!

Just arrived today - and it just needs a sac and a J-bar. I don't know what make or model it is, but it's pretty.

Just google "Graf von Faber-Castell Intuition Terracotta", there are plenty results about that pen.

I'm very interested in this pen. Also, the burnt orange m800 Pelikan. I can find the GV Faber castel but I can find a seller. I imagine it's sold out. So I won't even ask the price. When the burnt orange Pelikan hits state side I'll snatch it up. I love that red and orange colored barrels with the black or deep brown cap.!i just got the red and black saior just came out. They made 88 pieces. Too bad about the GRAF. I'd like to have it. Open question. Which is more or less between the GV Faber castel and the Pelikan m800 in burnt orange and dark brown

I'm very interested in this pen. Also, the burnt orange m800 Pelikan. I can find the GV Faber castel but I can find a seller. I imagine it's sold out. So I won't even ask the price. Too bad that i'm out of budget for both of them at the moment. I have soft spot for Pelikan (trust me, i have 15 Pelikans in my flock), and i keep coming back to look at the thread for Pelikan M800 burnt orange in Pelikan section. But i decided to try other top brands and i found that GvFC in bidding at a superb price (although it comes in a small paper box instead of a fancy retail box, it is still a big sumgai to me, lesser than the price of a normal M400 in US if you want to know), i couldn't resist it.

 

I have a blue M805 with M nib, which is one of my favourite but it is too big for my small hand to carry everyday, i prefer my M200s and M400 white tortoise as daily writer, sometimes i bring a M605.

 

If you really want to get the GvFC and willing to bid for it, i could give you the link, just PM me. Last time i check, there is one in bidding.

 

Now i have another one in mail, another sumgai. Who could believe a Cartier Diobolo at $152, included shipping, even when it is used.

Decided to step out the Pelika... ahem, the comfort zone a bit and i fall in love with another Germany pen. The color is just too beautiful to resist.

 

Beside that baby, my waiting list is getting longer and longer:

- An old Pelikan 101N, green with 14c M nib.

- A Pelikan M605 blue with custom ground italic nib,

- A Pelikan M805 blue with M nib.

 

The Graf is just ...... one of the greatest pens I've never had !!!!! I love that Terracotta version with a XF nib .... I've bought mine from STYLO.CA .....

Alas, the longed-for ballpoint turned out to be a misidentified pencil, but the seller was kind enough to rebate back enough to make it worth my keeping it. And the FP turned out to be a proper J, with the flat end and the three ridge jewel on the cap. Can't wait to re-sac it and fill 'er up!

Nope. There were 3 as I have one too (and its an excellent pen with a lovely smooth M nib)

Well just landed today is little Parker 51 demi special in forest green. Regrettably the clip is broken on an otherwise beautiful little pen. Still happy to have in my collection.

So my Limited Edition Pilot Custom 74 arrived yesterday, and as soon as it arrived I sent it off to Pendleton Nibs to get a Butter-line Stub nib. So that should be coming back sometime in the next week or so.
