What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2015

RMN

Recommended Posts

I haven't purchased a pen in two years until last week. Now the wait begins for a Noodlers Konrad acrylic in bengal, the Neponset in the Forbidden colour and to top it off a Visconti divina midi plus two bottles of ink.

Lots of wants, limited funds!

Just got a Pelikan M400 in red. Very nice pen. Now I have to try it. Don't know which ink I should use in this one yet.

Oh dear....first FP in 20 some years bought Saturday, a TWSBI Diamond 540,.....now waiting on a Italix Parsons Essential from Mr Pen, and from eBay a Bexley Poseidon Magnum II, and er two Mont Blanc 146's due to a bit of confusion and a fairly low accepted BIN price that I wasn't expecting.....

Very much looking forward to playing with all of these, and depending on the condition of the Mont Blanc's may sell one on or if both look as good as they do in the pictures will keep one dry for the future.

Must stop looking at the MB 34, 74 and 320 I have ear marked as well...

My Sheaffer Cadet and Esterbrook J both arrived today, conveniently along with the restoration supply order from Anderson pens. I had decided to take a crack at restoring some pens, and can happily confirm that the Cadet went from being unable to pull any water in to holding a good amount of ink after having a new sac installed. Unfortunately the section on the Esterbrook cracked and crumbled when I got a bit over enthusiastic with the section pliers and misreading the temperatures on Richard Binders site.

Still, it wasn't much work but I felt a little accomplished pulling this one off and I'm already eying a Sheaffer Clipper that needs work on eBay for my next project.

I just got these two babies in the mail. Can anyone suggest a serious blue ink? I love Baystate Blue but I have heard it is prone to staining. I have samples on Eel Blue & DC Blue. Anything else?

Is this the mini? I would like to buy a mini sailor but have no idea how they name it today and whether I am ordering a mini or not.

This is a lovely color and looks "fat" which I like. Nice choice! I myself am not waiting for anything. Boohoo!

Not sure, that there is an even smaller ones than Sapporo, decide yourself. Here is two not so great picture compare with Parker Sonnet. Well, yes, its fat! Sounds like a nail, but put down a beautiful thin line of ink.

It looks fat and beautiful... LOL. I like fat and short pens.

Than its your kind of pen! I really like it, but "surprisingly" a Duofold International is slimmer, despite that I really like that pan.
