Ah, well, since you've asked: a Parker 51 Aero Demi in burgundy, with a gold-filled cap. Medium nib. Advertised on FPN Classifieds. Sometimes our little system works.

Held out for quite a while but went on a binge over the last couple of weeks: Pilot VP nib replacement, Wahl Eversharp Gold Seal and Skyline, and a Parker P51

Well, sort of a mixed bag, both of Parkers & feelings. Put in a couple of bids on Parker lot. 3 51s, a 51 Pencil, 1 61 flighter, & two I'm not as familiar with. I've said elsewhere that I usually avoid vacs. As I was paying, I took a closer look &, if I'm right, all three 51s are vacs. :wallbash:

Fair guess that Ms. Capless is a Parkette? And the three-bander is a Duofold?

I am waiting for a 2015 Lamy Al Star with matching ink cartridges and a Lamy Nexx. They should have arrived yesterday but they did not :( No new pens for Valentines day...

But I have lots of new art supplies to play with :)

I was waiting for a replacement Estie with a stub nib, but now it's been just over 6 weeks in transit so I have given it up as money lost. Puts a bit of a downer on the beginning of the year. On the other side of the coin I have a Skyline on its way to new owner, and hopefully over the next few weeks some more of my ill-fated collection will do likewise! Kind of sadly cathartic I suppose. Was hoping to raise enough cash to get a half way decent birthday present for self. Doesn't look like will happen now. Oh well, there's always next year! :)

Just got this Delta Sea Wood Wenghè in from Marte Modena. Pictures don't do it justice! The pen has just the right weight, feels very well made and I'm very impressed with the performance of the "Harmonic" steel nib (very smooth and juicy). I'll try to do a review later on.

That is really lovely. I have a Dolce Vita which I love, but I think I am going to have to get one of these too... I look forward to the review.

My pink celluloid Platinum 3776 is in my hands! It's wholly appropriate as a valentine's day gift to myself.

Another 51. First & only bidder on a navy gray demi aero with a 51 box. Just annoyed that I can't find anything on Virginia Hurbace, the one who's name is on the barrel. Not that it's any of my business, but it would be cool to find something.

Smoooooth. I ended up with a B nib, though it writes very similar to some M nibs of mine. But it's a joy to use so far. I'll try to have a review up soon!

Woot! New lot of eight pens! There's definitely one Estie (a Safari, my first one of those), one Inkograph, and one Avon in there; the rest aren't clear from the photo. Probably at least one Wearever; they're everywhere. :)

I've been waiting for a yellow-tinted Romus for a few weeks now, and it's getting me into all sorts of trouble. I found a Parax piston-filler, and of course being a scholar of German culture, language, and history, I can't resist a German school pen. In the meantime, my Guanleming demonstrator has arrived, and I got an Airmail 77PD to play with. (My first Indian pen, and I'm loving it!)

Aside from a rough starting issue with the Parax, I couldn't be happier with the bunch. The last auction ended today, and I may finally have a working (no-name third-tier) button-filler on the way. I'm just itching for that Romus to get here so I can declare this round of pen acquisition officially over. I should be set for the semester.

A 1924 Conklin Crescent Filler and a Visconti Salvador Dali (not the limited edition). I'll have them in a few weeks.

(busily tacks a Salvador Dalí pen onto his list of things he really really really wants)
