I've been holding off on buying any pens in lieu of getting other priorities taken care of. :-(

However, if TWSBI releases a Vac Mini, I will be compelled to buy it! Waiting for good news from TWSBI. :-)

Which Lamy is this? Awesome looking nib!

These are the standard gold nibs on most modern Lamys, except 2000, AFAIK.

I have one on my Accent Brilliant and on my Dialog3. Very smooth. And interchangeable with the steel nibs (Safari et al)

But do you know how to write in Gregg shorthand, so as to make full use of this pen? :)

No, I don't! However, I hear the nib does write nicely. Also, what ever possessed me to purchase a BLACK Estie?

Also, I evidently will be receiving through Fleabay an original green True Writer (I have an Abalone, which I only purchased as this green went out of production). We'll see how this pans out; may be going to a nibmeister for a tune-up & a nib assist...

Thanks! Never seen a gold Lamy nib in the "flesh". The only one i have is in a Lamy 2000, and its covered by the hood and is unitone (i think)

Apart from the Onotos I wrote about elsewhere on FPN, I am waiting for this one. It's weird; first, quite frankly it was cheap for what it is, and even weirder I was the only bidder! (Seller's Photos)

Baffled  :happyberet:

Bid on the correct pen this time -- Hero 360° in black.

Dammit. I'm waiting for an auction to wrap on Sunday before I throw money at other things & I was skimming though Parker & Sheaffer listings just to see what was up. I ended up (probably hugely over) paying for what I believe is a factory stub nib on a Sheaffer's Lifetime cartridge pen section. Now I need to figure out what to screw it into. If it fits the barrel on my other Imp section, I'm thinking of picking up another one of those PSP/Ranga ebonite bodies.

Anybody want to hazard a guess as to what a 14k stub Sheaffer's Lifetime section should go for?

Does waiting for a new nib count?

I'm sure changing my EF to a 1.1 stub is going to give me an entirely new pen....

TWSBI 580, that is.

You must have some sort of inside line on all this because I never see any of those kinds incidents - and I do watch eBay quite a bit.

As for incoming... nothing. Well, a kohinoor pencil, but no pens anywhere on the horizon. Looks like I'm all pen'd out. :(
