Wow - there are some beautiful colours in this topic.

 

Here is my swatch for Diamine Deep Magenta. It's a beautiful colour - I love it for big bold calligraphy letters - but I don't think it can compare to some of these Japanese rich pinks. Massive ink envy.

Thanks - the thickest letters are written with a reed pen (made from a bamboo cane).

Great color. So how does the pigment-based feel compared to dye-based? Can you tell a difference?

It dries out quicker in the pen, but it's really bright and pretty.
