Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Monteverde Rose Pink.

This is a very unusual ink. It has a sky blue halo in the ink blot, around the edges where the ink has pooled. This isn't sheen, I think it's a dye component separating out.

The scanner captures the ink with more magenta than in real life.

Interesting color!

I like strange ones too, will add this to my wish list :)

Is there anyone with experience regarding the PenBBS Ink of the year, Rose quartz? It looks intriguing, but I don't have any experience with their inks so not sure how it would behave, look like etc.

I'd appreciate a fellow pink lover's opinion. :)

In that scan it looks closer to the old purple.

Huh, both those Montverdes feel like pinker versions of Violette Penseé. Sadly, without the dry time. Very depressing.

I have both the Monteverde Purple and Rose Pink. Mine are quite different. The purple is exactly the same as shown by Lgsoltek, but my Rose Pink comes out purple-y, and dries to a very pink pink with blue halo —much lighter and pinker than ErrantSmudge's scan.

The variation on Rose Pink point to the strangely wonderful multiple layers of color in the ink. :)

It's a very nice mix! It would certainly want to try it.

I'll keep it in mind and will try to add Diamine Deep Magenta and PR Shoreline Gold to my next ink purchases

Edit: I forgot to thank you both for your kind words

That lipstick image is beautiful!

Right now I am using De Atrementis Goat in an Esterbrook SJ, 9128 nib. The ink was a kind gift. I was not super into the color when I got it, but am loving it right now. I go in waves with what color i want when, which leads to nice surprises!

Oh my, I finally put Lamy Beryl in a pen. Loving it, but it's a twin!

(I'm pretty sure there was a topic on twin inks, but I couldn't find it..)

It’s the doppelgänger thread: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/278558-battle-of-the-inks-doppelgaenger-edition/

These two indeed look very similar!
