During the late 1980s, no one wants the fountain pens.. Found these from the old book shop and old pawn shop that was going out of business..

Holy Shizznitt! You found the pot of gold at the end of the era!

Nice job on recognizing the value before anyone else did. You made a helluva buy that turned into a great investment.

Reminds of the stories of Issued Rolexs going for darn near scrap prices, now a nice example with papers can go for $50K, or more. Same with Blancpain watches.

I got these from my old grand father. I normally use pelikan. After cleaning then up they work great. I have no idea when they were made or what their name is our if they are worth something. Could any of you tell something about them?

Thanks in advance,

Tomas

Those are Vacumatics. I know people here can give you more details on exactly which models you have -- I'm just learning about them. They were made from 1933 until 1948(?). It looks like you have an Azure Pearl and either a Golden Pearl or an Emerald Pearl. I lust after them because they are gorgeous, but they seem to pretty collectable for various reasons.

Also, welcome!

Parker vacumatic : )

Wow, your collection of vaccumatics are beautiful!

I'd be happy with one golden pearl. :)

Thanks for the prompt response. One needle is hard like an average modern pelican and the other is wonderfully soft. Do you only collect or do you use them?
