A Scription Chronodex in a travelers notebook. Just printed and bound it today using Staples 28# laser paper, which holds up well as a planner. My journal, most of the time will be one that I bind using 32# HP laser. I find it holds up very well to nice wet pen and ink combinations.

I used Daytimer for years. Then I discovered fountain pens in 2014.

New this year and most enjoyable: The regular size Midori TN with the 017 monthly planner. Also the 005 page-a-day notebook and the 001 lined notebook (for bullet goals where I document monthly and yearly tasks).

I'm pretty happy with the set up. So nice to have a beautiful leather book.

I also have the Seven Seas Writer in my oh-so-decadent Gfeller. I keep it on my desk and scribble in it all day long. Great stress releaser and keeps me on track.

I am really enjoying hearing about what you all use.

ok, so looking forward (it's 1/2/2015) this customized planner looks very interesting, but where will it be found in late 2015? The Quo Vadis links go to pages which state:

Not Found

Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here.

found a page stating Quo Vadis available at B&N bookstore, will check that out.

Went to Barnes and Noble tonight and picked up one of their 5" x 8" basic black lined journals. I really like the paper in these, find it very fp friendly. They seem to be very well made and only cost 6 bucks. So that will be my journal this year.

My datebook, as it has been for a long while, is a Moleskin day to a page, not the smallest, but maybe 3 1/2 by 5 ish. Use it for appointments, class planning etc.

Do you use fountain pens to write in it? How well does it work?

I use the Exacompta "Basics" Tan - 100 lined sheets 5 1/2 by 8 inch. 993/1 which uses Claire Fontaine paper. I have a leather cover and change out the journal every year.

Sorry I am slightly confused by your post.

For me the link takes me to the Quo Vadis blog post relating to customising planners. People are invited to leave a comment with what they would like planners to look like in the future.

As you also note, Quo Vadis items are also available now for 2015 (no affiliation, not even a customer). I was asking if anyone recommended the "Notor" product, which it seems comes as a refill, and a cover also needs to be purchased.

Now I have bought my planner, a mini Paperblanks glowing rose. Shown in photo with my journal. I usually have notebooks with onecoloured covers but thought I would try something new.

yes my comment was based on what I found through the link, (not my link). On two of the Rhodia-related blog links, finding the cited products to examine what they offer, to See both online, and brick & mortar sales requires several clicks elsewhere. It requires persistence. As I noted earlier, only 4 of the cited resellers had Rhodia planner, just days before 2015, so arrival after January 1. This is Not to focus on negative aspects, simply an effort to find a simple way to obtain these desired products in the future, and before the year is over. What I found in two of the blogs was discussion regarding changing, minimizing features of the planners. The company is asking, is listening, but if we the consumers can't find the discussions or product, they will simply assume there is no interest, and the desired product disappears. After finding an ink friendly planner with good layout, the two year unsucessful quest to find it again has been frustrating.

I am happy to be using the Hobonichi Techo for the second year now. I like the compact size and use it mostly for to do lists and fun sketches, a gratitude journal, and a visual journal to go with my digital picture journal that I keep in my phone. The paper and the digital complement each other nicely! I also liked the Japanese paper custom cover I made for my Hobo last year, and this year I used tyvek paper for the cover and decorated it with Washi tape and sticker numbers for the year. I am also using it during my travels right now, and it's been working well for me. I am recording the things we do each day as well as some travel information. The small size works well for me. I use blank pages to practice calligraphy, too.

In 2015 I will be using the same planner I've used since 1995, the Franklin Covey Classic Planner. For my journal, I recently got a leather journal cover that holds B5 sized notebooks. I plan to use a Kokuyo notebook in the year to come.

My 2015 planner will once again be the Franklin Covey Classic size as well. I have been using it since 1985. The last several years it has been the Monticello patterned pages. In the past, I could go to the Franklin Covey store and pick it up. No longer. In 2014, they closed the store that I usually went to. Now the only store they have open is the one at their corporate HQ. Of course the hours are inconvenient for me. (8:30-5:30 M-F) So for the first time I had to purchase online.

Well I broke down and ordered a Hobonichi Techo Planner for 2015! I'm excited to get it in the mail...and seeing as how many other people are trying it out, I'm curious to see what everyone things after they've used it for a month or two.

Here's a pic from the official Hobonichi website in case anyone hasn't heard of these yet:

Here's a funny and (somewhat strange--according to my hubby) video the company put out: http://youtu.be/iWMQ0M_FSL8

I find that video amazing. The artistry of the people drawing, painting, and sketching, as well as writing in it, just fills me with admiration and envy. :-) Me, I cannot even make my handwriting look good yet. :-O Still, it's a great example that a planner need not just be a scheduler - it's an avenue for documenting your life, feelings, thoughts, and creativity. Free your mind!

I have been working on organizing what I write in notebooks. The notebook is a little Apica that I carry clipped in my wallet with a binder clip. There is a table of contents in the front followed by some empty pages ending with some pages for calendar events. The table of contents is great for being able to find things. I'm using the same numbers I use to index notes to cross reference notes. That way, I have a way to skip around in the notebook if a note gets continued after some other notes.

Pens - Lamys: 2000, AL-Star, Safari; Reform 1745s; TWSBI 540s

Inks - Diamine Midnight Blue, Liberty Elysium, Perle Noire, Yama-Budo

Paper - Cranes & Co, Fabriano Medioevalis, G Lalo, Rhodia, Strathmore
