I have prettier pens than my Eversharp Skyline (including a Doric that was an amazing antique store find), but the Skyline is my favorite. It really embodies the mid-century modern aesthetic and there's something almost dieselpunk and retro-futuristic about it. Like pen designers just after WWII were designing what they thought the Pen of Tomorrow would look like. I keep it inked with Ancient Copper. (Not my photo, just something I yanked off the internet, but this is the same color as mine.)

This is my most beautiful pen. I have shown it at FPN before, but thisis the one I find to be the most beautiful.

Thierry Testud - unique model - galalith and maple burl.

Reviving the topic...

Parker Vacumatic Major in Blue Pearl

LOVE the color of that pen! I just got an Emerald Pearl (dark green) Vacumatic, and the mid-century styling is superb.

Probably my Danitrio CumLaude - Blue Marble.

Franklin-Christoph, Italix, and Pilot pens are the best!
Iroshizuku, Diamine, and Waterman inks are my favorites!

Apica, Rhodia, and Clairefontaine make great paper!

I am fortunate to have both the blue and the red (burgundy) marbleized Parker Duofold Centennials, together with matching pencils and ball point (the blue) and roller ball (the burgundy). Both exhibit fantastic almost iridescent coloration. Wish I had a camera so I could take shots to show y'all.

Since I don't I refer you to this link on the Parker Pens Penography site: http://parkercollector.com/limitededition.html

Since Parker also issued this is a green marble y'all can probably guess what's on my grail list! :D

I have the blue marble Centennial in the original style with the thinner clip and the flat cap bands. The green marble pens were originally made only in the International size, as a special edition for customers of American Express. I have the FP and BP, neither one ever used, with their clip stickers still attached. Don't know what they're worth, but I expect they'd be fairly hard to find.

The green is also wonderful! I hope someday I'll have all the 5 colors of this model...

Revising... (Though the Gold-Pearled Vacumatic does hold some regards for celluloid beauty).

Thanks to your comment, I have been strongly interested in Classic Pens (Andreas Lambrou) LB5 Tairiku (Amethyst Mauve) finish. At last I have got the pen! i was made acutely aware of the fact that there are various pitfalls anywhere.

My garnet red Waterman Carene is probably the pen that I find the most beautiful right now, but each one of my pens was purchased because I found them beautiful, so picking one is really hard!
