Vintage Esterbrook J Blue Icicle with a 2048 nib --- inked with Waterman Serenity Blue....

FIRST TIME writing with an Estie!!! REALLY nice!! The pen came with a new sac.....inking was no problem!! :)

I'm planning to stay with this ink in ALL my Esties -- tried-and-true ink for tried-and true (American!!!) pens!!

(OK....the French ink is a tribute to those who perished in the recent Paris tragedy.... :bawl: )

Always try to get the dibs....on fountain pens with EF nibs!!

TWSBI Diamond 580/EF with J Herbin Eclat du Saphir

Franklin-Christoph Model 20/Masuyama steel needlepoint eyedroppered full of Noodler's Black. (An experiment to see if the fancy German feed can keep an eyedropper from blobbing.)

I've quite a few others inked, but those two are loaded in the laptop bag.
