This morning it's an "Original Reform 1745" with J. Herbin 1670 Stormy Grey. Nice combination, and I'm shocked at how well this little Reform writes.

At the moment, I have two pens inked. I'm mostly using a Pilot Varsity that I refilled with Diamine Crimson, but I also have a Wearever Pennant with Noodler's Black in it. Both are good writers. The Varsity probably a bit more forgiving, with a wetter flow and a broader line, but as long as I use a very light pressure with the Pennant, it writes smoothly with a fine line. I don't think the nib of this Pennant is tipped. It appears to just be the steel of the nib bent to provide a writing surface.

Platinum 3776 Century Shoji with a broad nib stubbed by John Mottishaw and a maki-e converter with a tadpole motif on it. Loaded with Noodler's Ottoman Azure. Fun to write with, and I have my own portable pocket aquarium now.

Inked up the blue Platinum Plaisir with Noodler's Baystate Blue. Wow. Nifty.

The Parker Sonnet is getting along nicely with Diamine Sapphire Blue. This pen and ink combination is working well as something I can live with.

Thanks! Skyline is gorgeous, light, hand-friendly - and super smooth, with a bit of flex. I'm a Streamline design fan, so for me this pen was a must. But it will please anyone, especially you ;)

Today I used the Sheaffer Taranis with the stock black cartridge and I finished the Noodler's Navajo Turquoise in the Jinhao X750.
