Pelikan M800 green, EF, DA Sherlock Holmes

Pilot VP matte black, 1.0 stub, R&K Alt-Goldgrün

TWSBI Diamon 580, 1.1 stub, Diamine Syrah

So far today, just a few grocery list items and notes at work.

I suppose it might be a little boring, but I still use the trio mentioned above. Notes at work. I often use the same set of pens and inks for several weeks before flushing them all and picking a new set.

journaling / tinkering with pens / sailing / photography / software development

TWSBI Mini with Diamine Asa Blue

Esterbrook green icicle with Emerals of Chivor and huge, broad nib

about to fill my brand new Eco in white with 1.1 nib with R&K Alt-Goldgrun.

Dip-wise: Working with stubs today: Esterbrook 314 Relief pen, and breaking in a new Esterbrook 239 Chancellor. I'm determined to figure out how to write well with these nibs. Right now they work great for rapid writing, but my writing is not terribly good. I'm trying them like they were used originally, with the flat of the nib parallel to the line of writing rather than the 45-degrees I'm use to use stubs for italic.

They're also the best nibs for my really textured cotton paper. Probably use Walnut ink.

Conklin Duragraph, Forest Green, Fine nib, Pelikan Edelstein Jade ink (I really like this color)

Platinum 3776 CENTURY,Chartres Blue, fine nib, Diamine Onyx Black ink

an old Shaeffer clear cartridge pen filled with Pelikan Edelstein Topaz ink.

Pilot Metropolitan, fine nib, Noodler's Borealis Black ink.

so far today. I really hesitate to uncap my Jinhao x450 as I know I will get ink all over my hands. Same with my Noodler's Ahab.

I will never be able to afford anything in the price range of a Montblanc. Maybe I could find a fake for a reasonable price.
