Loving my Franklin-Christoph Model 66 Ice with an M nib and Noodler's Cactus Fruit Eel!

I also have this pen but with the Masuyama Gold Broad Italic - I love it. In fact it led me to also buy the Model 02 in Ice with a Masuyama gold MI. I love them both and use them as eye droppers. But I have found it virtually impossible to get the "shadow" of the ink colour out of the body (& I was only using Tsuki-yo). It doesn't bother me too much but am curious to know how you've gone removing such a vibrant colour?

Today I'm down to one pen: TWSBI 580 Rose Gold F with J. Herbin 1670 Bleu Ocean.

WHOA! I haven't been to FPN in nearly 4 months! Well, I guess I better get started.

Anyways, I just finished making my SSAT vocabulary flashcards for 3 hours with my Montblanc Meisterstuck.

I had to refill it in the middle with my MB Royal Blue.

Ok, I have to know. What is an FA nib and where do I get one!! Can the feed keep up with pumping out that much ink!

The FA nib is also known as the Falcon nib and you can buy a Pilot Custom 912 with FA nib at Goulet Pens, new for about $225. I'm sure other shops sell them as well.

Don't know about the feed of the 912. There are reviews of the 912 with FA nib on YouTube; I suggest you check these out.

I have the Pilot Metal Falcon in Soft Extra Fine, which is a different pen despite using the Falcon name. It flexes nicely, but it's not a "wet noodle" like a vintage pen can be. From what I remember from the reviews, I suspect the 912 is similar, i.e., requiring some pressure to flex.
