Using the Pilot Parallel today, seeing how creative I can get.

I got the full set though a Massdrop that just ended so it is going to be a while before I get them, but the more I see, the more I'm stoked about trying them out.

Very cool! would love to see a video of just how you achieved that effect. Thanks for sharing!!

Sailor Pro Gear, Broad Mottishaw nib. Absolutely love it, but I didn't at first...

Here's the backstory. I'm a broad fan. Big, juicy & broad and I'm sold. I'd heard so many great things about Sailor nibs that I had to try one. Got a broad (yes, I know Japanese nibs are thinner) but it was scratchy, dry & I didn't get all the hype. I surmised that Sailor wasn't for me. I persisted, however, trying different inks. Last week before the holiday weekend (here in the US) I pulled it out of the pan case and loaded it up with Éclat de Saphir.....HELLO!! That bright blue, wet ink & the Sailor danced my pants off! The flow and smoothness is amazing & now I think I need five more Sailors!

Putted around with a Noodler's Konrad doing some flex-nib stuff with Noodler's Widowmaker Red and Noodler's Blue American Eel. I'm a left-handed overwriter, but I had to try underwriting to make the nib flex. Looks spastic and I've got smears on the paper and ink all over my palm. Still, not a bad way to kill time while listening to the arcane details of tax law, I guess.

I did too. Liked the pens enough to get more.

Thank you. Nothing special, just pivoting back and fourth with a random motion. Some people can perform magical things with the parallels on youtube. I'll try to see if I can get up a video soon.

Two Esterbrook J pens: One with J. Herbin's Stormy Grey and a custom ground oblique fine stub. The other with R&K Leipziger Schwarz and a 2048 "Flexible Extra Fine Falcon".

And a Conklin Crescent #25 with Sheaffer Blue.
