I've just filled up my Gama Raja with another 3.5 ml of Liberty's Elysium and I have a Safari inked with Sheaffer Skrip Blue, so I'm using those today.

The more I use the Raja with its large round section, the more irritating I find the narrow feeling, triangular section of the Safari- which is strange because I used to LOVE that section. I find that I rotate the pen to the left just enough to have the edges dig into my fingers and the section is narrow enough that I feel like I need to death grip the pen. Strange.

Here to help when I know, learn when I don't, and pass on the information to anyone I can :)

VP Blue Carbonesque, Pelikan M100, and TWSBI Vac700. I have a custom pen on the way, and I cannot wait to add that to the rotation!

Been cutting down on pens during Lent; now time to ink some more! In current rotation:

  1. Classic Pens LB5 (based on Sailor King of Pens), fine nib, Sailor Sei-Boku Blue Black
  2. Conway Stewart Churchill Excalibur, IF, George Jensen blue (<== Note to self: must add review of this ink)
  3. Bexley Model 58 Engine Red, fine nib, Graf von Faber-Castell Cobalt Blue
  4. Lamy Safari, steel fine nib, Diamine Tyrian Purple (to compare, but I now prefer FPN Dumas Tulipe Noire - thanks Amberlea!)
  5. Pelikan M600, 0.6mm stub italic by Richard Binder, Diamine Red Dragon
  6. Pilot Falcon, SF, Pilot Blue ("Your quest for a one-size-fits-most ink may end here.")

Sheaffer 440 (M) w/ Liberty Elysium on Rhodia no 18 Uni Blank

Well, Art is Art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water. And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now you tell me what you know.-Groucho Marx
