Used my LAMY 2000 with broad nib and MB Diamond Blue for some general notes today. Also, wrote some thank you notes today with my Montblanc Simplo No. 4 safety filler, also inked with Diamond Blue (my favorite all around ink).

Lovely pen and ink combo's. I am also a fan of Diamond, eking out the remaining drops in the bottle!

Embarrassing use today. My steel nib in my new Monteverde started out scratchy today (probably because I tested it's flexibility yesterday and overdid it), and I spent a good few hours writing nonsense all over a couple of pages of my bullet journal, testing and re-testing the nib until it was marginally satisfactory and worth writing with again. I may just order another F nib from Goulet to get my mind off this nib (or just go to a local meet and see what others say about it before pulling the trigger--I have a 1.1 stub in the mail anyway), but it writes fairly smooth now.

I cleaned, filled, and tested my Preppy with Iroshizuku Kosumosu.

I caved and bought a Pilot Custom 74 SFM from my LPS. It's lovely. All of my inks save for Edelstein Garnet are now in pens. Hooray!

Looking for Japanese and French language pen pals!

Today I'm using a lever-fill Sheaffer's Balance with red striations and a fine Lifetime nib. It's filled with Fuyu-gaki.

Both Parkers (DuoFold and Vector) ran out of ink today, so Pilot Metropolitan M with Audacious Red is in service.
