Pelikan 400 (OB nib), and Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black, for my journal and for some general note-taking. Also for filling out a withdrawal slip at the bank.

Parker Vector (F nib, but it's a firehose), with Akkermann #10, to make notations in my checkbook register (wasn't sure that Brilliant Black was *quite* permanent/waterproof enough).

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

I have a Parker Vector with a M nib and it is easy flowing - I find I have to write large

I'm using my new favorite pen--a Pelikan M800 brown tortoise with an Italic Broad nib. The ink is YamaGuri.

The other pen I'm using is the M600 white tortoise with a 1.1 Italic ground by Richard Binder. I really love the pen and nib and have used this combo almost everyday.

This morning, Italic writing practice with Pilot Parallel Pen. The 3.8 mm made for some huge figures, but is very good for practising pen angles. If you're off slightly, you'll notice immediately.

From one Pelikan Pen lover to you, from one whose list of wanted writing instruments includes a Pelikan M805, dark blue, allow me to write, rather express this sentiment... Enjoy your day!

That is a real beauty! There are very few like Pelikan pens. I enjoy and love the nibs, 18kt and the Pelikan on it. Only other nib I admire as much would be a Montblanc. Only ones I am sure have the nibs I owned long ago were a Proust and Medici; Can't remember whether both or which one, but it had a heart breathing hole. Just beautiful. Miss them both. They had to be sold for financial reasons. The Proust went to Japan and the Medici to TX. Yes, I still remember where my babies ended up. Thank you for the images. I have a solid one for when things come together for me to get my own. I have two M800 nibs, one Waverly by Richard Binder, the other an XF I am using in my M800, so all I need is the other stuff to come together. Be Well

Italic practice while listening to Hilary Hahn playing Bach. Pens used are the Pilot Parallels in 3.8, 2.4 and 1.5 mm and a Visconti Homo Sapiens in Steel with a 1.3 mm stub nib.

I used a MB Carlo Collodi (F, Akkerman Bekakt Haags) and Visconti Homo Sapiens (Bronze, F, Akkerman Simplisties Violet) this morning while studying for my ICC Inland + Coastal Waters ("Klein Vaarbewijs II" in Dutch).

Oh, and one pencil plus eraser because I needed to draw lines on my map as part of the section on nautical navigation.
