Edison New Filling System?

That is the thing with engineering. Complexity is easy to make, simplicity is hard, specially when you deal with several requirements. Those valved nightmares of the turn of the century are proof of that, that are literally dozens upon dozens of them. And they could work, the Ford did but it's too complex and clunky. Then we have the opposite, sometimes to make a mechanism viable to make, operate and maintain you need to break it down into parts, that adds complexity. So it's all about balancing too little and too much.

What I really want is to see what it is, I really hope that Brian can pull it out this time. It's hard, I'm trying to settle my own company and just now I released how hard the production part of engineering is. Man I wish I had the money for a Swiss-Lathe... one operation parts... fully automated... milling... engravings!

I'm going to admit, Edison is a rather conservative brand when it comes to the mechanical aspects of their pens, but that is due to the factors I've mentioned. What I can expect is something of quality that works.
