The colour is quite nice but I would like to see it in the 600 and 800 sizes.

Rob Maguire (Plse call me "M or Mags" like my friends do...)I use a Tablet, Apple Pencil and a fountain pen. Targas, Sailor, MB, Visconti, Aurora, vintage Parkers, all wonderful.

Yes, I have noticed the same thing with my M400s and M600s. Once posted, the M400s (and M200s) are very nice.

These pens (M2XX/4XX/6XX) are designed to be used with the cap posted.

This colour combination reminds me strongly of my favourite Merci-chocolate sticks. And it is available with an ef nib here in Germany while all other Classic series pens only come in f,m or b. I`m doomed  .

This pen is a beauty and I've preordered mine from nibs.com with the nice enhancement of a 14k OBB nib-- even though Pelikan's steel nibs are outstanding.

And yes! Perfect! MB Toffee Brown it is !

Cheers

The cafe creme M200 makes me hungry looking at it. I may need to add another Pelikan to the flock. I like it! Nice touch Pelikan.

I don't see it available for preorder on Nibs.com yet. How did you do this...call them?

Kevan,

I sent them an email request and they were happy to oblige since they already have my payment information ( I wonder why ! ). And you can see the 14k Pelikan nib selections on their website which fit the M200-M400s. I had this same thing done to the Pelikan demonstrator and it writes beautifully with a piston full of Apache Sunset. The total cost is around $320.

What are the nib options on this pen?

I ordered a factory Italic with my Congac M200 and it's utterly brilliant, I'd consider this pen if it was available with the same nib.

EF, F, M, and B I believe. The modern line-up is pretty basic.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

Hello Skoff,

Pelink is no longer making italic nibs... unfortunately.

But as Sargetalon said, they are available in F, EF, M, and B.

Please let me know if you need further information.

I'll be happy to help.

Fascinating... I also have a Cognac M200 with an Italic and it was a .... unusual ... italic nib. More tipping than I've ever seen. I had it ground down MUCH smaller, it's now a nice 1.2mm stub. It was an overly broad stubby nib before.
