I might have missed this somewhere above, but if we're not including 'Duofold' (and I think that it's right we shouldn't) because it's a model, not a brand, then we shouldn't include (Conway Stewart's) Dinkie.

 

Wee point also about Kenrick and Jefferson: it's not KenDrick.

Tesco now have their own brand of pen - no clue who makes it for them.

 

On the Croxley v Dickenson argument, I'm with PeterG on this one as I believe the brand only existed for 3 or 4 years and was made in the Dickenson's pen factory in Liverpool. Will argue it out with Cobb and PeterG at the London Pen Club⁽¹⁾ this coming Saturday (unless I get distracted by shinys).

Couple more things.

 

MacNiven was never a brand nor a model AFAIK. Cameron was a series of models in the loosest sense of the word series: the models had numbers on but its not clear if they meant anything. I suppose it could be considered similar to Swan in that way. But in that case, Waverley should also be an entry on its own, rather than just Waverley Cameron.

 

And did Kenrick and Jefferson ever make a pen that wasnt labelled Superpen? I know there are a few different varieties of Superpens but I dont know if K&J Superpen should be separate, or if just Kenrick and Jefferson should!

A new name to add!

Bury. Not sure if they were a manufacturer, but I have seen a pen recently and several steel nibs on other pens.

 

And a second, Turnpike which rose from the ashes of Maypen (but not for very long!) Maypen probably manufactured the Top lever pen for Langs (plus their own version).

 

I agree with northlodge's divisions although Valentine was a brand, manufacturer and subsequently a brand manufactured by Parker.

Just for clarity, it's Dickinson, not Dickenson and Mabie Todd were not the only company to make Kenrick & Jefferson Superpens.
