Parker 15 Nib Numbers

Hi everyone,

 

II recently bought a lot containing a couple of Parker 15 fountain pens and discovered that some of them have numbers on their nibs rather than the usual X/F/M/B. I attach the photos of four nibs I have below:

 

 

Does anyone has any reference regarding these nib codes? Could not find it anywhere.

Well the numbers probably reflect the sizes EF , F , M and B. I have some P15s with the numbers on the feeds and some with leters F , M etc. Someone else may have more accurate knowlege.

I am pretty sure four of them do, but since there are at least seven of these then there must be also at least seven corresponding widths/types.

I seem to recall reading about some older Parkers having a number or letter on the feed and I think it referred to the size of the ink channel of the feed rather than the size of the nib.
