Magic Cashmere - The Never To Be Repeated Mixing Mixup - Susemai - Blackstone

Interestingly, my Green Cashmere powder mix was actually green, just like the original.

Hmm. The ink sample I have did look green in the tube, and came out of the pen green, then in a second or two turned to lavender gray. Curious!

Someone had to get a green one!

BTW, add phenol.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I got a green one too, a sort of dirty brown green, but still green. However, it's too late to add phenol, it already has a little raft of foreign life growing on it.

How much for 25 ml bottle? I have not put any in any of the BS inks.

OH, darn, I had a little cheat sheet around here. I think 3 drops.

Is never too late to add Phenol. If you want to chuck the ink, do so. But, if you want to "save" the ink, just ad triple amounts of Phenol and wait a few days. It kills everything and your ink will remain intact.

Tried and Tested several times...

I wonder if a few drops of Laphroiag whisky would do the same. It smells just like phenol.

  • 5 weeks later...

I spilled some powder when mixing, and it got wet, showing off all of the little powder particle colors. I thought it might be interesting to show.post-114418-0-88636400-1428531770_thumb.jpg

PS: My ink also ended up looking like the regular green.
