the problem is really that I love ink so much, if I write with any ink for more than a few days I start to see the things to love about it. Such is what happened with this ink. When I first used it, I was unimpressed. It's a pretty dark green-gray, but is it doing anything that BB Dandyism isn't?

But then, as the week wore on and i hadn't gotten around to doing a review yet, I started to like the ink more and more.

It looks great on all papers, but I thought it was really interesting on absorbent sketch paper ...

... and actually the most boring on TR paper, where it comes out ever so slightly matte and dull, in my opinion.

... and there is a hunt of sheen in some areas.

Overall I do like it, but I'm still not entirely sure I'd buy it over BB Dandyism.

to my eyes it looks like tokiwa-matsu... I'm not sure if its my eyes or my monitor not being color color calibrated so this is how the missing ink sample looks like

It's actually not at all like Tokiwa-matsu, which is more green and has almost no gray in it. This is definitely more like BB Dandyism, or Kobe #1, or MB RG.
