Ink That Comes With Pilot 78G's Cartridge

I finished some cartridges with black ink that came together with Pilot 78G. I can see that there are small metal balls inside cartridges and that the ink was a little dense.

Now I fitted a rubber converter and filled the pen with Diamine ASA BLUE. Because, apparently, the new ink is thinner, the writing of the pen is different.

So I was wondering, is there the original Pilot ink but in a bottle? Or some other brand ink, with similar denser feel.

Thanks a lot.

I'm not too sure what you mean by "is there the original Pilot ink but in a bottle" - am I right to say you've missed out on typing the word "not"? As in "but not in a bottle".

Well the Pilot cartridges hold Pilot ink for sure (unless you refill the cartridge with something else when it's empty), and the metal ball is there to break surface tension and ensure that the ink will flow, instead of sticking to the walls of the cartridge.

As to the density of the ink, it has to do with the dyes in the ink. Diamine is a wet ink - so probably more liquid and less dye as compared to Pilot. (Just my two cents - I may be wrong.)

And I want before I die
My soul's verses to bestow.

All those moments will be lost in time.
Like tears in rain.
Time to die.

I've never come across a Pilot cartridge with an agitator in it. Are you sure the seller supplied you with Pilot ink.

I was thinking the same thing. Might not have been an actual Pilot cartridge.
