Thank you, a really neat post. What a wonderful idea. As an avid letter writer myself I know how much each letter I receive means to me. The idea of writing a letter to yourself perhaps each year looking forward to where your life might go and looking at each five years later might have some amazing results, allowing you to see where you are going or didn't go.

Thanks

How cool is that. :D

I would indeed be fun to do something like that.

Even making a time capsule of your own. A letter addressed to yourself, to be opened in 20 years.

Thank you.

Thanks.

Makes me think I need to track down some letters I wrote to a very special friend some 30+ years ago. I think I have them around somewhere. I wrote them over a period of two years. Sometime later, they were returned to me by her at my mom's house. I know they were in mom's garage for a while. Will need to look and see if I have them here, or there. If I do find them I will have to read them and see if I can't use them to help with my personal history.

Yes, its very interesting, specially because those letters written differently than a diary... I did once, when I was on a training. Was interesting to read that letter later. It can be more reflecting than reading my diary.
