It was a Pilot Justus 95. I paid a lot for it, but I'm happy to say that I didn't pay what most others have paid: I lucked onto a deal on Amazon.

$99 is the most I have ever spent on a pen. A True Writer Silver Anniversary, although I own two or three pens that retail for more than that. (2 Pelikan M205's, perhaps at least one other)

I think the most I've paid so far is ~$155 + tax on a practically pristine cocoa 51 demi.

 

Value-wise, I got a deal on my Elite 95s & Aurora Ipsilon, both of which retail for significantly more than I paid for them.

About $100 (not incl. shipping) for a Sheaffer Sentinel Touchdown EF fully restored from Peyton St Pens. That was a big mistake, and now I'm eitehr stuck with it or have to accept ridiculous low-ball offers. Just sits gathering dust in the draw. <shrugs>

 

 

Actually, when I think on it, I've actually given away a greater value in pens than I've ever had in a single pen. Sobering thought.
