Hi!

Do you mean that the ABC set in a wooden box is unavailable now? I'm pretty sure the pen and pencil are still made. I've seen them for sale on UK sites, because I've been choosing a pen for my young daughter.

I haven't tried them though.

I'm using my L2K, EF, with Lamy turquoise, which it really loves. In fact, all my pens love it.

Use a collection of Lamys that are scattered around my desk daily... Most of them in use since new for 10-25 years now. 3 Safaris and a 2000. My favorite one which I reach for most often is a charcoal Safari with a F nib which has always written like a B!

I have a Vista and 3 Al-Stars that get pretty regular use. I teach, so they're filled with a variety of inks for differerent purposes. My Vista is loaded with Lamy Turquoise and gets general note-taking use. My Al-Stars are all filled with various other colors of ink for correcting papers. I have one loaded with Diamine Red Dragon, one with J. Herbin Rose Tendresse, and the last with Noodler's Habanero.

Tonight, I am using my Lamy Studio Wild Rubin with the 18K gold fine nib together with Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-budo. I also have a Lamy Al-Star and Lamy Safari, but the Studio is a wonderful writer - smooth as silk. It is the perfect size with wonderful balance - not to heavy for my smaller hands. I have only good things to say about the pen.

Sadly no fountain pens today.

Using my "new" Persona Ballpoint and a Dialog 2 rollerball.

Currently, I am using Lamy 2000 Fine (with Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black) in the place of its birth, Heidelberg.
