Forced myself to use my Aion today. I don't know what it is about this pen, but it always feels clunky in the hand. I think I might pass it on as a PIF some time soon.

Have you tried using it with a Gold nib or one of the standard nibs?

The problem isn't the nib, but pretty much everything aft of it. Perhaps one needs hands like Shaquille O'Neal to find it comfortable?
