Just inked my Lamy 2000 (EF) with the Noodler's Navy, to begin a new week at my home office. I think I've never used the Noodler's inks with the Lamy 2000 before. The wetness of the Noodler's ink makes the the pen such a pleasant and smooth writer.

Lamy Safari Mango, M nib, Lamy Blue cartridge, the one that came with the pen. :D

LAMY CP-1 Black + Lx EF nib + Pilot Iroshizuku Chiku-Rin. Wow that's a handful to say. Love the pen, love the ink, and they go surprisingly well together.

I am today a ball point barbarian (at least with respect to Lamy).

I am carrying (and using) a Studio ballpoint in Terracotta, with a black M16 refill.

Today I need several different colors, so in terms of Lamy, that means I am using:

  • an Olivine Studio, inked with Edelstein Adventurine,
  • a Red Safari inked with FS Fritzrot,
  • a Blue Safari frankenpen (with an old white/red Joy cap that was sold in the US as a "USA" limited edition) inked with Lamy Turquoise.

French Blue Safari, F nib, with diluted Lamy Benetoite.

If I get energetic (which may not actually happen this evening) I will work on the test of an ink sample that is currently residing in the new Azure al-Star, M nib.

My Lamy 2000 is my go to workhorse 99% of the time. I used my 2k - F nib for all 6 years of seminary & master's programs and continue using it daily here 4-5 years since graduation

I love my Pelikans and use them quite a bit, but for some reason my 2k is my good old faithful

:)

this year, or this month, or, more likely, this very day, we have failed to practice ourselves the kind of behavior we expect from other people.
