Pretty gutsy high/low combo! Maybe should have gotten the All Black on closeout after all. Edited by Calabria

3 out of 8 of my inked pens are Lamy AL-Stars: green, black purple, and graphite at the moment

Using my 2018 Lamy 2000 with ‘vintage’ Oblique Broad nib from a doner L2K, inked with green/brown Sailor Riku-Cha. The L2K status went from “obligatory ownership because of its historical contribution to the hobby’” to “always inked and used avidly”.

My Lamy Vista extra fine with washable blue cartridge. So far I like this pen.

Switching over to an IG ink though. I want permanence.

I am using a Lamy Studio Palladium 14k Fine, along its Rollerball best friend.

(Clicking on the picture(s) should send you to my Flickr where you can see more pictures and see them at 4X quality/resolution, just a couple of more angles).

Notice the dot on the cap. That way you know which one is which when pulling them out of the case; Similar to the Lamy Safari plus and minus symbols at the cap, this one is just more refined.

Al-Star Charged Green with medium nib and one of the more saturated (surprised just how saturated and vibrant it is) Lamy Blue cartridges; just practicing some calligraphy.

Lamy 2000, Pelikan Royal Blue,

My understated setup.

Nothing wrong with that... my L2K likes Pel Royal Blue as well.

But... today, the L2K is rocking some Diamine Registrar's ink, while the Lamy 99 holds J. Herbin Rouge Hematite.

Lamy Al Star Pacific (fine) with Lamy Pacific ink. It was a coin flip between the Pacific and Petrol for the first fill. Plus Pacific seemed appropriate under the circumstances.

Can't go wrong with either one!
