The only two I have worth using, my 2000 (EF /w birmingham sport donnelly grass stain) and a CP-1 (B nib, Hero blue)

Selling a boatload of restored, fairly rare, vintage Japanese gold nib pens, click here to see (more added as I finish restoring them)

I'm using both my "stealth" Safari (F) and my silver Aion (F). Like them both for different reasons.

Can't wait to try my new 2000; it should be on its way from the seller soon...

Lamy Safari (f), Pilot MR (f), Kaweco Ice Sport (f), Lamy Aion (f), Parker 75 Ciselé (65), Platinum 3776 (m), Lamy 2000 (f), Kaweco AL Sport (f), Montblanc 146 (m)

Lamy Imporium again, filled with Pelikan Edelstein Ruby. Given I use the colour only occasionally, it could be in rotation for a while.

Great pen. Top of the current line!

I agree about its quality, D.ick. I once attempted to satirise the fact that it took 2.5 turns to undo the cap. Since buying a modern Onoto with 3.5 turns, the Imporium is feeling perfectly normal :) and I have always enjoyed its slightly unusual style, with linear ribs on the barrel and concentric on the section. Excellent nib in the modern smooth fashion, stylish yet practical clip, good attention to detail. It is worthy of its Lamy flagship position.

The Imporium is the only pen with a screw cap in the Lamy lineup.

As for the flagship, IMO, it ought to be the Dialog 3 (unique, presence).

Rolling with my Petrol Safari with XF nib inked up with Diamine A Leap of Faith (a very dark blue-purple exclusive for Phidon Pens).

Dark Lilac Safari with dark lilac ink. EF nib. A great carry pen. I bought two, in case I break one.

The Accent also has a twist cap.

Aquired both my Lamys at the same time, and find one far more preferable than the other. Not intending to P anyone off, but I have just set aside my stainless steel Lamy Studio EF, and filled up my Graphite Lamy Al Star w/ medium point. Both nibs are stellar, but I must confess the Al Star just feels cheap, chintzy even, and I DONT mean in comparison to my Studio. Both in construction and in ink flow, I'd compare the Al Star to one of its Chinese knockoffs, which might even win in comparison if we measure price against performance. I dont think the Al Star will be much used, and I may pass it to one of my children, if they were remotely interested.

Just add an F at the beginning, and any Art stinks.

Except your own.

I have a similar opinion of the Al Star and Safari.

My Vista has been sacrificed to Noodler's BSB. :D
