Hang on for the launch of new colors, you might even get tempted to get two. :D

When will the new colours be known?

In the meantime, I bought yesterday a white Safari (I think I'm almost by owning 20, have to count them) with a 1.9 nib, and I started using it with the usual blue cartridge. Lovely 🙂

I bought a yellow safari on Friday and it should come soon (thanks guys, I didn't need much encouragement in the end!). I know what you mean about the new colours and wonder when we'll find out. The thing about safaris is that it's so tempting to start collecting them because of the colours and limited/special editions. I've got black, red, blue, pink, petrol, lilac, a vista and now the yellow one coming. I'm not tempted by the green or white ones but interested to find out what the new ones will be.

At least I've got them all inked up and use them every day. Not sure what I'll use the yellow for but I'm sure I'll find a use for it. They are so lovely, ticks all the boxes for me as they are a pleasure to write with. I've got fine, medium and broad nibs all of which have their uses. I use the broad for shimmering inks and feel quite posh when using the fine 😎

@ Lamyliz

Apparently not, you still are in the Lamylicious zone.

Glad you are using them all. :D

I have a black and red Safari. Both with fine nibs. Neither has been used much recently. The nib was misaligned on the red one and was way too toothy. I aligned it and it writes smooth and much wetter than before, which is fine with me. So I inked it with Lamy blue ink and the black one with Liberty's Elysium. I am using both daily. They are fun and reliable. The verdict is still out on which blue ink I like better. Generally my preferred blue is Aurora blue, but the Lamy blue is growing on me.

I am glad I put the Safaris back into rotation.

Today it's trying to finish up the fill of diluted Randall Blue Black in the LX Ruthenium, M nib. (I'm trying to get pens out of rotation before heading up to the Commonwealth Pen Show).

Today used my Lamy 2000 Makrolon with a fine nib, inked with Waterman Serenity Blue. What a fantastic combination. This nib is easily the best in my collection--bought it new from Nibs.com and they did a great job making sure that it was in perfect working order, and tuned to my tastes. Wrote a letter today, on Tomoe River paper, and was enthralled by how smooth and delightful the nib was to write with.

One of my humble Vistas which gets along great with Équinoxe 6: makes it look darker and bluer which I like in this ink, and doesn't clog, which this ink managed with a Faber Castell Ambition.
