Lamy Accent with the black accent and an old but wet and very smooth MK nib because its filled with the dry Pelikan 4001 Blue Black. This combination give a very nice shade.

Finally got a Lamy Studio in Imperial Blue; it's a beautiful pen, the chrome grip certainly feels different but I think I'm getting along with it. The F nib just glides, none of my other 7 Vista nibs have felt this good, even though they are the same. Perhaps the guy who sold it to me took the trouble of adjusting it. I'm using Callidolio Équinoxe 6, I thought "blue ink and blue pen how boring" but since it works so well...

Not me, but someone at my table used a Lamy Safari, white. The best I know about the ink is that it looked blue.

Taking notes in class, with four members of the Safari family.

1) Al-Star Pacific, with Lamy Blue for general note taking.

2) Lamy Vista, with R&K Alt-Goldgrün for highlighting in diagrams.

3) Safari in Yellow, with Sailor Kin-mokusei for highlighting in diagrams.

4) Safari in Blue, with Monteverde Garnet for highlighting in diagrams.

Lamy LX Rose Gold, fine nib, Waterman's Absolute Brown

New to me Lamy Coffee Al-Star, broad nib, sample of J. Herbin's Amethyste de l'Oural (nice enough, but I prefer the darker and more dusty color of R&K's Scabiosa)

Lamy 2000 extra fine. Very pleasant to write with.

Lx Gold medium nib with Dark Lilac ink. Writes much drier than my Safaris so it makes the ink look different. Lite Lilac ink, or Faded Lilac ink. Definitely not dark. Perhaps I'll floss the nib with a brass sheet to see if it makes a difference

Check that the tines are parallel to each other. If they converge at the tip, bend them out a bit gently, with a wooden ruler or against a wooden desk edge.
