I own 2 Lamys- a Vista and a Dialog 3 in Piano White. The latter was a favorite of mine for a few weeks, then then the white started picking up color from my carrying case. I tried to scrub it off with a gentle loofah and although the color was cleaned, the pen now is all scratched :/

  • 2 weeks later...

Safari neon coral with matching ink and a 1.1mm italic nib. I refilled it last night. Seems like a good color for Summer.

My (new) Lamy 2000 medium with Diamine Autumn Oak ink.

I must admit I'm very impressed by how this Lamy helps ink shade, perhaps due to both nib width and nib softness. Most of my pens have been fines or extra fines and so I've never noticed much shading in most inks before. I'm tempted to buy more medium and broad pens

My two new Lamy pens. An abc, which took 2 hours to adjust the flow witty Skrip blue flowing beautifully now, and the yellow Safari, F nib & Pilot Blue-Black, which wrote spectacularly out of its box after a good clean up.

Using this 'Nexx', with some PaperMate ink taken from a short Int. cartrdige, very rich blue, the box says 'Made in Austria'.

Paper is a new notebook I bought, seems very high quality, 'Perfecto' by Silvine, UK made.

My new Lamy Dialog 3 in Piano Black. It arrived on Thursday, I've filled it with Lamy Dark Lilac and am really enjoying it. It's a little large and heavy but I'll manage.

"Purple" Al-Star with Noodler's Lexington Gray. This pen is not purple IMO, but the ink is everything I wanted it to be.
