My old, silvergreen AL-star, inked with Standardgraph reed green, which is actually a really nice ink.

Just received my first Lamy pens ever. Lamy Al-Stars in sets with Filofax notebooks. Ordered four colors: Black, Blue, Purple, and Copper Orange. All with fine nibs because the gift sets only had one nib option. Can't wait for the weekend to unbox them all.

Sounds like you are going to enjoy Christmas this weekend. I love it when I get new additions and anticipate the thrill of un boxing and checking them out. Enjoy your weekend.

My new Charged Green Al-Star. I didn't think I would like the color until I saw it in person at a pen club meetup. It really is a beautiful, glowing color.

Lamy Safari Dark Lilac with the matching ink. I got a bottle, and like the shade a lot.

Lamy 2000 medium with Pilot Iroshizuku Asa-Gao. Given that I'm more used to Japanese FM-M, the L2k M feels like it's just gushing ink on the page, but it writes so smoothly and beautifully I love it nonetheless. It's like the dessert of ink usage...over the top and indulgent, possibly not the most practical, but so, so amazing.

I wasn't sure I liked the color either. But I have learned my phone does not always show a good color representation.

So far I haven't bought one. Could you say more about how it won you over? Is it more green than yellow green?

A 1980's white CP 1 inked with Pelikan 4001 royal blue.

I don't usually take that pen to university (because it's too slim for 90 minutes of constant writing), so I often use it for note-taking and general writing at home. I adore the way it writes.

Today, I'm writing with my new Dark Lilac Safari, medium nib. I carry too many Safaris and Al-Stars. :) But it's reminding me of how much I like the matte finish. Now to find that Charcoal, set aside during my surgery recovery...

My new Lamy Safari Dark Lilac Fine nib inked with PR DC Supershow Violet and a Lamy Copper Orange 1.1 nib inked with the Lamy Dark Lilac ink. I have them in a tie-dyed orange cloth two pen case. I don't know which pen gives me more delight, but together they are pretty awesome!

Hi there - I'm new here. Today was a Studio day with both Imperial Blue and Stainless Stell in fine for the office :)

Lamy 2000 medium with Lamy Black.

I have been main-handing this pen since January, it's absolutely an amazingly smooth writer and a treat to use. The rest of my collection is getting envious.

With kind regards,
-Matthew
