Lamy Studio Matte Black Fine with Sheaffer Skrip Blue-black. My most favourite pen - ink combination.

Al-Star blue green with J Herbin Emerald of Chivor ink. Put a 1.9mm nib on the Lamy to get maximum effect out of the ink (I hope).

Wow! Do you ever see one of those stealth bombers flying around in your area? Would be quite the site.

I agree, the Safari/Al-Star look quite stealthy too.

I like my Charcoal one:

I did once when it was returning from a flyover of Arrowhead Stadium. Best chances to see them are closer to the base than the KC metro area. Edited by Misfit

The Stealth flew over Kauffman Stadium after the National Anthem for today's Royals game. So I went outside and did see the Stealth up high flying back to base. Lucky since it's partly cloudy.

Edited to say Doh! I should have used multi quote. I'm still using the Al-Star blue green today for the last day of Project FeederWatch bird counting.

I had the AL-star and the Vista today. I'm not sure if t's the cheap paper pads we have but the EF on the Vista feels really scratchy. I'll run it on some Rhodia and see what it's like. Worst case, I'll stick with Fine and wider nibs.

The CP1 nib works great on some papers, but on others, it's a pain. I love it, though. The nib is unmarked and black, which looks interesting.
I think they don't make them in white anymore - this one is my dad's old workhorse pen from university. How he managed that with his giant hands is a mystery to me.

The AL-Star was my trusty companion all the way through school. It shows.
I replaced the original F nib with a 1.1 nib two days ago - hadn't written with stubs in about a decade or so, and I thought it'd be a nice change.

I have a silver (stainless steel) CP1, but it's older and has a small nib that cannot be switched with other Lamys. It is a 14 kt nib though. I love the white CP1s, but don't see them as much as the black pens.

Finally got my hands on the dark lilac one so I've been putting it to good use!

A CP1 with a 14 kt nib sounds amazing. What an interesting combination.

The white CP1 looks neat, I agree. I'm normally not a big fan of super slim pens, but this one really won my heart.

I'm really liking the new Dark Lilac Safari. I have a M nib and am currently actually using one of the cartridges in the same colour.
