I am new to the forum, but not new to Lamy. I am using my Lamy Brushed Stainless Studio loaded up with black Parker Quink. I love this pen, especially since it was my first "good" fountain pen. It always gets positive comments when I pull it out to write.

Morning everyone. Using my silver/black Lamy Al Star with a 1.1 nib. I love the fact that it is battered and scratched but still looks good

My favourite Lamy is a Burnt Orange Al-Star I bought off a member here, swapped the nib for a blackout F and it always stays inked. The ink of the week is going to be Noodler's Blue upon the Plains of Abraham (only took me 3 trips to Wonderpens to get my paws on it!)

What would be a nicer way to start a 2nd Monday in January than to receive this bad boy in the mail! It felt like Christmas revisited when my new Lamy 2000 arrived from my online ebay effort over the holidays.

Despite my rants over the years about how I disliked my experience with this pen which resulted in my getting rid of it, I wanted to give this bad hair cut another try (4 years later). Found a good deal on ebay for $120 USD, but with the exchange it still worked out to almost two C notes CAD. Ouch!

Well I inked it (smooth piston action) and when the nib touched paper, it did bring a smile. Such a lovely nib. Bliss! So I take back all the harsh things I said. Nice Tiguan. Niiice pen!!!

Today I'm using my Lamy 2000 Stainless, EF, inked with Iroshizuku Syo-Ro. Yesterday it was my 2000 Makrolon EF inked with Diamine Bilberry.
