Lamy Ratio 57 with a F nib from my Lamy 2000 in it.

Lamy 2000 with an M nib from my Lamy Ratio 57.

I know it's wrong but it's so right for me. I like my 2000 to be nail like and the Ratio to be expressive.

Tonight I had my first writing session with my brand new Lamy 2000 in extra fine, inked with Noodler's 54th Massachusetts. Gorgeous pen and offered a very comfortable and satisfying writing experience.

This was my first Lamy Safari, bought in about 2008 ish, seem to remember it was an ex-demonstrator, and now I know it has the "wrong" cap, it should be on a rollerball I think. It took several attempts to get the nib as I like it, but a very good writer now.
