Inky T O D - Color Swatches - Green - Please Post Your Pictures And Tell Us Your Thoughts

I'm thoroughly enjoying the two new Caran d'Ache greens: Vibrant Green and Delicate Green. Even though Delicate Green seems to not shade as well as Vibrant Green when you swab, the "edge" shading is much more visible with the lighter Delicate Green - see the small bit of lettering. This looks great printed; I'll post more later.

Paper is Tomoe River A5 size in a paperforfountainpens notebook.

NICE!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Magnificent! Beautifully done. After seeing your cards, I may almost come to like green inks... ;)

The only green inks I go for are the oddballs, e.g., Vert Olive and Alt Goldgrün:

I could go for a plate of them right now! And you should see the olive aisle in the grocery stores in Spain --they're a riot! Stuffed with almost everything imaginable... Fun.

I got hooked on green olives stuffed with anchovies. They are hard to find out here. I LOVE them. Growing up my front yard had two olive trees that we had topiaried into cubes. They were so cool.

That's really cool. Could you post a before/after wash shot once? I'd be interested to see how you achieve these wonderful little washes.

It's just a Q-tip dipped in the ink. It comes out pretty dark at first (top left) and lightens as the cotton absorbs the ink. Give it a try!
